The Rockbridge County Wildcats lacrosse team scored 18 points and limited the visiting Monticello Mustangs to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Jefferson Forest was overwhelmed by Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 18-4, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Patrick Henry toppled Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 20-7, in a non-league game.
