Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).

The Maroons now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Auburn for a Mountain Empire challenge on Monday, April 24.
