The Greenfield Knights soccer team scored 11 points and limited the visiting Wayne Christian Eagles to 1 in the Knights league victory on Monday.
Next, the Knights face the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Greenfield will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
The Eagles now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host John Paul II Catholic for a NCISAA Coastal Plain contest on Tuesday, April 18. Wayne Christian will face a Saints team coming off a 4-3 league win over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Saints record now stands at 9-2.
