The South Johnston Trojans baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting West Johnston Wildcats to 5 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.
The Trojans (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 0-6 record.
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Fike edged Hunt (Wilson, NC), 7-1, in a non-league match.
