The San Marcos Knights routed the visiting Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns softball squad by a final score of 18-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks go into the battle with a 16-0 record. In their last battle, Del Norte notched a victory over Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 9-3, in a league battle.

The Longhorns now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mission Hills for a battle on Thursday, April 20.
