California High School Softball - San Marcos knocked off by Ventura

In Monday's league contest, the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Ventura moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA) to play the Spartans in a contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Rio Mesa lost 11-10 in their recent league contest against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)
