The Anderson County Mavericks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Oak Ridge Wildcats to 3 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Anderson County improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Mavericks host Fulton (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 18. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 6-9. Fulton lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Rebels (Knoxville, TN) in a 4A District 3 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Oak Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 5-8 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN).
