The Marlboro County Bulldogs softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Andrew Jackson Volunteers to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Marlboro County improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Camden (Camden, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 6 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 10-5.
In their next game, the Volunteers clash with the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) in a AA Region 5 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Andrew Jackson will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 8-2 league win over Central (Pageland, SC).
