North Carolina High School Softball - Ayden - Grifton bounces J.H. Rose

Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host SouthWest Edgecombe for a Eastern Plains 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Ayden - Grifton will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 13-0.
With the loss, J.H. Rose falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Rampants travel to South Central (Winterville, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Big East 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. South Central won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC)
