South Dakota High School Softball - Lennox holds off Beresford

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) and the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), witnessed Lennox's softball squad tip Beresford by a count of 9-7.

The Orioles now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Vermillion for a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. Lennox will meet a Tanagers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tanagers record now stands at 2-0.
