The Center Hill Mustangs softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Lake Cormorant to 9 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Center Hill moves its record to 2-10 on the year. The Mustangs host DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS) to play the Jaguars in a 6A Region 2 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 14-10. DeSoto Central lost 6-5 in their recent league game against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS)

In their next game, the play the Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Lake Cormorant will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 23-0 non-league loss to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS).
