In Monday's league contest, the Enumclaw Hornets (Enumclaw, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Franklin Pierce Cardinals (Tacoma, WA), by a margin of 5-0.

With the triumph, Enumclaw moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA) to play the Sentinels in a 2A South Puget Sound contest on Wednesday, April 19. The Sentinels come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Steilacoom won 28-6 in their recent league contest against Foss (Tacoma, WA)

In their next game, the Cardinals play the White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) in a 2A South Puget Sound contest, on Wednesday, April 19. Franklin Pierce will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 28-6 league win over Clover Park (Lakewood, WA).
