South Carolina High School Softball - Lexington bounces Midland Valley

The Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) softball routed the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 11-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators go into the AAAAA Region 4 bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, River Bluff toppled A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host North Augusta for a AAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, April 18. Midland Valley will confront a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-3.
