Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH), 13-10 in a league challenge.

The Senators now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rock Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Portsmouth West will face a Redmen squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, South Webster falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Jeeps host Valley (Lucasville, OH) to face the Indians in a Southern Ohio II challenge on Friday, April 21. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-3.
