With the win, Burns upgrades its record to 20-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to battle the Golden Lions in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Golden Lions come into the test with a record of 2-12. Shelby won 10-5 in their recent league test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)

With the defeat, East Gaston falls to 13-7 on the season. The Warriors host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Monday, April 22. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-16. Forestview lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC)
