The Chapel Hill Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 6 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights go into the DC 6 4A match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Northern Durham edged Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 5-3, in a league match.
The Fighting Red Wolves (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles enter the Central 3A outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Eastern Alamance by Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
