New Mexico High School Baseball - Espanola Valley loses to Pojoaque Valley

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes crushed the host Espanola Valley Sundevils baseball team by a count of 10-4 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Elks/Elkettes now possess a 2-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moriarty for a 4A District 2 bout on Saturday, April 20. Pojoaque Valley will face a Pintos team coming off a 5-2 league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 7-7.
Next, the Sundevils face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Saturday, April 20. Espanola Valley will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the bout with a 12-7 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
