In Wednesday's league game, the host George Stevens Academy Eagles baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Sumner Tigers.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx go into the Class C North game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Mattanawcook tipped Central (East Corinth, ME), 12-2, in a league game.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Knights go into the Class C North game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Narraguagus tipped Woodland (Baileyville, ME), 5-4, in a non-league game.
