The Lake Braddock Bruins got by the visiting West Springfield Spartans baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodson for a Patriot bout on Friday, April 19.
Next, the Spartans face the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a Patriot bout, on Thursday, April 18. West Springfield will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 3-12 record after their 12-6 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
