The Newark Tech Terries held off the visiting Nutley Maroon Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Terries now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. Newark Tech will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Side (Newark, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

The Maroon Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ). The enter the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Eagle Academy was nudged by Montclair (Montclair, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
