In Wednesday's league challenge, the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) volleyball team toppled the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), by a count of 3-0.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Dores enter the PCAL - Gabilan challenge with a 17-10 record. In their last challenge, Monterey defeated Salinas (Salinas, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains encounter the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Palma will attempt to move on its 11-16 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Hill (San Jose, CA).
