Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers confront the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Carroll County will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA).

The Maroon Tide now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Giles for a Mountain Empire challenge on Monday, April 22. Galax will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.
