The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) and the visiting Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC), saw Rocky Mount Academy's soccer squad triumph over Oakwood by a count of 9-0.
The Eagles now hold a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Christian for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A test on Thursday, April 18. Rocky Mount Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Oakwood drops to 5-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Epiphany (New Bern, NC) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, April 22. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-8.
