Spanish Fort Toros (Spanish Fort, AL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Toros confront the Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) in a 6A Area 2 challenge, on Friday, April 19. Spanish Fort will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL).
The Spartans now possess a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baldwin County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. Saraland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.
