The Homestead Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Norwell edged Bluffton (Bluffton, IN), 5-1, in a non-league match.

The Saints (3-3) will now prepare for their match against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, DeKalb edged West Noble (Ligonier, IN), 13-3, in a non-league match.
