Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA), 21-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Fishermen now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Saugus for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19.

With the loss, Beverly falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
