North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Cornerstone Charter drops to Bishop McGuinness

April 17, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27409

In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains lacrosse squad scored a good 19-4 victory over the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals.

The Villains now have a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Davie for a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. Bishop McGuinness will face a War Eagles squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 8-7.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test, on Monday, April 22. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-10 record after their 18-0 league loss to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
