Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 9-8 in a league battle.
The Seahawks now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Red Lion Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, April 19.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Woodbridge Raiders (Bridgeville, DE) in a Henlopen South battle, on Friday, April 19. Delmar will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-5 non-league win over The Gunston School (Centreville, MD).
