The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) and the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), saw South Burlington's lacrosse team nudge Mt. Mansfield by a margin of 16-15.

The Wolves (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Bulldogs enter the Division II challenge with a 0-1 record.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets enter the Division I challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Essex was tipped by Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 6-5, in a league challenge.
