In Wednesday's league contest, the Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Belfast moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host Winslow (Winslow, ME) to play the Black Raiders in a Class B North contest on Friday, April 19. The Black Raiders come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Winslow won 14-3 in their recent league contest against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a Class B North contest, on Friday, April 19. Lawrence will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
