The Boiling Springs Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Mauldin Mavericks to 15 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Boiling Springs moves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to clash with the Rebels in a AAAAA Region 2 game on Friday, April 19. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 20-3. James F. Byrnes won 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC)

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 game, on Friday, April 19. Mauldin will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
