The Hillhouse Academics softball team (New Haven, CT), was routed 15-1 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Branford Hornets (Branford, CT)
Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Quinnipiac test, on Friday, April 19. Branford will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT).
The Academics (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Titans come into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Sheehan overcame Mercy (Middletown, CT), 3-1, in a non-league test.
