Alabama High School Softball - Calera bounces Chilton County

April 17, 2024: Clanton, AL 35045

Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) and the host Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), witnessed Calera's softball squad tip Chilton County by a count of 8-2.

The Eagles now sport a 21-18 record. They play next when they travel to Marbury for a non-league match on Friday, April 19. Calera will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Demopolis (Demopolis, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Chilton County moves to 12-15 on the season. The Tigers host Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL) to meet the Mustangs in a 6A Area 5 match on Thursday, April 18. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 7-11. Stanhope Elmore lost 13-2 in their recent league match against Calera (Calera, AL)
