Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), 20-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oxon Hill for a Prince George's County 3A/2A challenge on Friday, April 19. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will face a Clippers squad coming off a 35-0 league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Potomac falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) to face the Lions in a Prince George's County 3A/2A challenge on Friday, April 19. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Largo lost 24-12 in their recent league challenge against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD)
