Collinsville Panthers (Collinsville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Gaston for a challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Collinsville will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-8 league loss to Fyffe (Fyffe, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Fyffe falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18.
