The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) and the host Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), saw Lebanon's softball squad achieve victory over Fort Chiswell by a count of 10-0.

The Pioneers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tazewell for a non-league match on Thursday, April 18. Lebanon will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Fort Chiswell falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Grayson County (Independence, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a Mountain Empire match on Monday, April 22. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 2-9. Grayson County lost 8-0 in their recent league match against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA)
