Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME), 11-4 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fryeburg for a Class B South challenge on Friday, April 19. Wells will face a Raiders squad coming off a 22-16 league win over Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Greely falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to face the Raiders in a Class B South challenge on Monday, April 22. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Fryeburg lost 11-5 in their recent league challenge against Wells (Wells, ME)
