The Jenkins Cavaliers softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Twin Valley Panthers to 10 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Jenkins moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Cavaliers host Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to clash with the Blackcats in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Blackcats come into the game with a record of 6-9. Prestonsburg lost 15-8 in their recent league game against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 22. Twin Valley will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Generals come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-8 league loss to Van (Van, WV).
