The Magnolia Blue Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Williamstown Yellowjackets to 2 in the Blue Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Magnolia improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Blue Eagles travel to Paden City (Paden City, WV) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mason-Dixon game on Thursday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 4-9.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) in a Little Kanawha game, on Thursday, April 18. Williamstown will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-18 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Belpre (Belpre, OH).
