The Vikings now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wilkes Central for a Foothills 2A match on Thursday, April 18.

With the loss, Mount Airy falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Granite bears travel to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to face the Sauras in a Northwest 1A match on Thursday, April 18. The Sauras enter the match with a record of 5-13. South Stokes lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC)
