The Nonnewaug Chiefs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Wamogo Regional Warriors to 0 in the Chiefs league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Nonnewaug improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Gilbert (Winsted, CT) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Berkshire game on Friday, April 19. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 1-3. Gilbert won 27-17 in their recent league game against Terryville (Terryville, CT)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Avon Falcons (Avon, CT) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. Wamogo Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
