The Southmoreland Scotties softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host South Allegheny Gladiators to 0 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Southmoreland improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Scotties travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a game on Monday, April 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Mt. Pleasant lost 11-4 in their recent league bout against South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA)

The Gladiators now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a bout on Friday, April 19. South Allegheny will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
