Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maple Mountain for a 5A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 18. Spanish Fork will battle a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Timpview falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT) to battle the Aviators in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Aviators enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Cedar Valley lost 9-7 in their recent league challenge against Salem Hills (Salem, UT)
