The Overton Mustangs nipped the host Beckville Bearcats baseball squad by a score of 12-11 in Thursday's league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Overton will attempt to advance on its 21-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a 7-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to Harleton (Harleton, TX).
