In Thursday's league bout, the West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) baseball squad edged the host Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. West Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 4-7 record after their 13-5 league win over Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).

The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Waynesboro was nudged by Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA), 5-2, in a league bout.
