Texas High School Baseball - Brackenridge wallops Highlands

The Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) baseball trounced the host Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), 18-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Brackenridge will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 9-5 league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 16-4.

With the defeat, Highlands drops to 3-16 on the year. The Owls travel to Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Hurricanes in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Sam Houston lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Seguin (Seguin, TX)
