The Needville Bluejays baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Brazosport Exporters to 1 in the Bluejays non-league win on Thursday.

The Bluejays now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sweeny for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Needville will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Wharton (Wharton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-9.

With the defeat, Brazosport drops to 3-14 on the year. The Exporters host Columbia (West Columbia, TX) to clash with the Roughnecks in a 4A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Roughnecks go into the test with a record of 14-11. Columbia lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Needville (Needville, TX)
