The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix to 7 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan for a Shoreline - Large test on Monday, April 21. Coginchaug Regional will play a Huskies team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Huskies record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy drops to 3-2 on the year. The Phoenix travel to East Hartford (East Hartford, CT) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 3-4. East Hartford lost 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)
