The Marion Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Cole Cougars to 4 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poteet for a 3A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, April 22. Marion will play a Aggies team coming off a 16-13 league loss to Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Aggies record now stands at 8-17.

With the defeat, Cole drops to 4-17 on the year. The Cougars travel to Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX) to play the Griffins in a 3A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Griffins go into the test with a record of 9-10. Great Hearts Northern Oaks lost 19-0 in their recent league test against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX)
