In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Watonga Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Drummond Bulldogs.
The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Chisholm (Enid, OK). The Longhorns enter the non-league game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Chisholm held off Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK), 19-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers (Pond Creek, OK) in a Skeltur game, on Thursday, April 17. Drummond will attempt to improve on its 23-3 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 5-12 record after their 14-3 league win over Cimarron (Lahoma, OK).
